On tap at the brewpub, extra points for asking if I wanted it slowly tapped. I’d call this a milk stout, as it rather sweet and chocolaty. A little bitter bite on the lips and tongue. I would not mind drinking this all night.

Sampler at the brewpub. Dark and deep like a Fernet Branca only with a small rim of light brown. Alcohol is 6%. Roasted malts, coffee, milky roasted notes on the nose. Mellow roasted mouth. Medium to full body and smooth to drink although the carbonation is also quite noticable. Dark chocolate and malty notes. Well balanced bitterness.
