On tap at the brewpub. A clear looking dark brown beer with a finger thick beige head. The aroma is quite weak, with roasted malts and a burnt-like sourness. Some coffee in the flavor, along with roasted malts, some bonfire and hoppy bitterness. Medium body, dry and quite heavily carbonated. Roasted malts dominates the finish. A very gentle Porter, easy drinkable. 140621

Snitt (330ml), draught at the brewpub. Nice appearance with a deep reddish tint to clear, dark brown body. Topped by beige patches. Smell of sweet malts, slightly roasted. Careful roasted malts in flavour with late arrival of sappy, dark fruits. Short bitter tail. Rather watered texture. Needs more body. Quite likeable, though, but their steamer was much better (Trondheim, 12.03.2009)

Draught @ Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri, Trondheim
Pours clear dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, cocoa, caramel, floral and hint of coffee. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught at the Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri, Trondheim, Norway. Dark reddish brown colour with small creamy tan head. Roasted malt, caramel sweetness and nut in aroma. Flavour is dark malt and diacetyl. Watery. This one is a disappointment. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Taster at the brewpub. Pours deep red/brownish with a big creamy beige head.Aroma on the sweet side, light roasted malts. Taste is almost identical to the aroma, roasted malts and dark fruits, with a rather short finish, medium to low bitterness . Watery mouthfeel. Not their best brew.

On tap at the Brewpub in June 2014. Dark reddish/brown with a small head. On the sweet side with light roasted malt, light coffee, fruit and caramel. The body was thin. Drinkable but not that exciting.

Medium creamy beige head with larger bubbles. Deep dark red barely translucent body. Dusty roasty perfumy aroma, quite harmonic. Dry smoky watery taste with some residual sweetness. Chalky mouthfeel. Dry burnt perfumy hop aftertaste. Too watery, unfortunately. (0.33l draft at TMB.)

(Draught at the brewpub on 2009-02-17) Almost black. Hint of haziness. Small white dense head. Liquorice and coffee in aroma. Full bodied, bit creamy and dryish palate with medium carbonation. Roastedness, liquorice, coffee and bitterness in taste. Bitter and roasty aftertaste.
