3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery.
Aroma has a nice medium light cracker malt note with some light toasted bread. Some medium hop notes of grapefruit and pine with some lighter stone fruit and moderate resin.
Pours a slightly hazy, slightly pale, golden-orange with a small, thick, white head that exhibits nice retention as it recedes to a thin film that lingers. High lacing and smallish legs.
Flavor is somewhat sweet with some cracker, biscuit and sweet, toasted bread. Light caramel. Medium high bitterness with some moderate grapefruit and lighter pine notes. Moderate resin with some lighter citrus and stone fruit.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice IPA, but the malt profile tasted and smelled like it was a bit under fermented which hid some of the hop character. My least favorite of the 3 beers I had here.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy golden with a modest, white head. Mild fruity aroma with notes of canned peaches and butterscotch, hints of citrus and caramel. Does certainly remind me of the brews of Oslo Mikrobryggeri. Finishes medium bitter. Certainly not fresh, but somewhat drinkable still. Prefer butter on the bread not in the beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Nose is light, with dank citrus notes. Flavour brings out piney hops, dry crackery malt, and light resin. Clean and smooth, with nice balance. Good stuff.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden color with a nice white head. Some lacing. Hoppy, fruity and a bit malty aroma. Medium (+) body. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Decent balance. Soft carbonation. A bit caramel malt dominated apa. Not very San Diego style. Weird to use this name. Anyway one of their best hoppy ales. Usually they are close to diacetyl drinks. This one avoided that.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub. Hazy golden body with a thin white creamy head. Sharp, fresh hoppy aroma with grapefruit hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries citrusy and herbal notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Well done.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Small shiny white head. Slightly hazy yellow body with carbonation. Strawy citrus aroma with resiny tropical fruit notes. Dry-sweet sharp resiny citric taste with dusty fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Sharp mouthfeel. Dry-bitter sharp resiny dusty citric aftertaste with strawy earthy notes. Nice, but somewhat sharp and unbalanced, should have had higher OG IMHO. (0.45l draft at brewpub.)

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap in the brewpub 13 Jun 12. Bright golden colored. Almost no head. Hazy. Strong & good aroma of citrus. The flavor is very fruity and is soon followed by a strong & good bitterness. A sourish bitter aftertaste. A refreshing "summer IPA".
