Trondhjem Trondhjempils

Tap. Pale yellow body. White head. Light fresh aroma with fruity hints. Fresh hoppy flavour. Pleasant bitterness. (Trondhjem MB, 17.03.08)

100ml on tap at the brewpub. Clear golden body with a thin white head and nice lace works. Sweet grassy aroma. Fine balance in taste by malts and dry hops. Very refreshing. Should be one of the better pilsener in Norway (Trondheim, 12.12.2007)

Smallish offwhite shiny head. Light orange body with faint carbonation. Sweetish aroma of floral hops and malts with notes of metal. Dry-and-sweet grainy dusty metallic taste with notes of cardboard and resiny hops. Dry watery grassy aftertaste with cardboard notes. Some faint fruitiness. Chalky, sharpish mouthfeel. Not bad, but not harmonic enough for such a light beer. (0.33l draft at TMB.)

Comments: A bit rubbery in the finish, but otherwise fresh and crisp offering. Perhaps just a bit unfocused out of its pilsner malts.

0,45 cl glass at the brewpub. Golden color, small white head. Nice malt and hops, but to thin. A good pilsener, though.
