August 2005, "The Lade Inn", Kilmahog, Callander, Scotland. Cask. The brewery is in the same building, but they start brewing themselves in a month, so this beer is brewed at Bridge of Allan. Amber with a nice, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of fruit and caramel and the flavour is very nice, but light with notes of fruit, citrus and a good and lasting bitterness. It’s incredible that a beer with 3,9% can have this much flavour.

From Scottish Bottle Shop. Amber, buttery, fruity, malty. Some orange and some hops. A bit boring, to be really honest.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours an almost clear body, golden in color, and topped by a nice off-white head. Buttery, malty and bready nose with some fruits. Bready, slighlty buttery flavor with nice fruity hops low on bitterness. That goes for the finish as well. Medium body, dry. A quite drinkable beer, but too buttery aroma. 091024
