Beer No. 73 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Draught at the brewpub as Trotzenburger Original Helles. Slight hazy yellow/golden coloured, medium sized white head, brewing cereals in the nose. Sweet malty, light hoppy and brewing cereals with pleasant hoppy finish. Very nice beer.

Bottle, 100 cl, at Papsø. Very pale with a frothy, bubly, quickly diminishing white head. Interesting citrusy notes, quite watery, very fresh, slightly citric, sweet cereal malty, flowery hops. Refreshing, medium bitter finish.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy light amber with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with touches of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweet, estery notes and touches of malt. Bitter and rough aftertaste. High carbonation. Good mouthfeel. A decent Pilsener.

Light unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090921]

Bottle 100 cl. Courtesy of Elisabeth. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a white head leaving a discreet lacework. Fresh flowery hop aroma with a very slight tartness. Medium body, malty sweetness, has a lightly citric touch and a dry and hoppy finish with a subdued bitterness. 270812

Draught at the brew pub as Trotzenburger Original Helles. Slightly hazy golden/yellow colour with a bubbly, white head. Aroma with pale malts, hay and flowery hops. Light sweet taste. Light to medium body, thinner texture, soft carbonation. Finishes with sweet malts and a discrete and pleasant hoppy finish. Nice beer, fresh.
