Slightly hazy light copper with a grand white head. Lacing is thick, sticky, and frothy. Yeasty, musty aroma with a touch of banana and citric hoppiness. Fruity esters prevalent in the flavor, very mellow and soft initially, but the softness slowly wanes as slightly bitter, spicy hops creep up. Finish is slightly sour, bready with hints of over-ripened plums and raisins. Nice full, pillowy mouthfeel with a moderate level of carbonation. IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 30, 2005 Cloudy copper color, medium head. Pretty tangy, some hops, a little bready with some lighter fruits. Citrusy. Medium bodied, kind of creamy and almost a little spritzy with a dry finish. Pretty tasty. A nice, full blond with plenty of body. Very easy drinking. Finishes a little short, but pleasant. mikeben (344), Naperville, Illinois, USA

It has a mild sweetness but is tangy enough to be a solid beer. Great aftertaste and color. One of this best. Thick mouthfeel this also looks and smells excellent. pivo (2537), Germany
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 27, 2004 Clear, but complex nose: citrus, malt and yeast. Hazy blond color with a sticky tight bubble head. Yeasty, lemony malt body with some vanilla in the background. Some wheat peaks through now and then too. Napkin-like aftertaste, unfortunately. Hoppy finish makes up for it though - actually quite hoppy. Interesting blond. I like it.
