Citrus, yeast aromas, hazy yellow, pours a huge, long lasting white frothy head, gorgeous lace forever. A load of carbonation. Grapefruit flavour, zingy lemon too. Light bodied, pretty decent.

Dense clouded orange color, excessive foaminess. Enticing aromatic blend of vanilla, white pepper and fruits. Sweet fruity flavor, slightly acidic. Creamy coconut and banana flavor in the second half. Spiciness lingering in the aftertaste.

Not really one of the bigger or more complex examples of belgian blonde ales, but this is perhaps a more drinkable example of the style. It pours fairly pale and cloudy but doesn't have a hard to control head. The aroma is very clean for the style, but esters and spiciness are present. The flavor also is cleaner than expected, but not too clean. Flavor is soft, low bitterness and quite drinkable.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 clvand0 (350) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 19, 2003
This Belgian blond ale pours a very cloudy orange color with a minimal head and lots of floaty stuff in the mix. The head is moderate and it is fairly strong. The aroma is very spicy with hints of malts and hops. This beer drinks somewhat smoothly, but not smooth enough for my liking. It is very spicy in the taste - something I didn't enjoy too much. Not a bad beer, but too odd tasting for my enjoyment.

Bottled. Golden honey colour with large consistent bubbles rising to form a steady white head. Slight sediment. Beautiful sweet aromas, honey, bread, jasmine, well balanced and delicious. Tastes is hoppy, slight citrus (orange), with a tangy smart on the side of the tongue. Easily drunk. Reasonable palate.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Uglyradio (791) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - MAY 5, 2003
This Belgian blond ale pours a cloudy orange color with lots of yeast particles. The beer has a large white head that is mostly lasting. The aroma is hoppy and spicy with a touch of malts and graininess. Medium body with moderate carbonation, the beer is smooth on the palate and has a very complex mixture of flavors that includes yeasts, malts, hops, honey, and apples. The finish is creamy, mildly hoppy, but not bitter, and slightly sweet. Very smooth and easy to drink, this would make a great summer time ale/lawnmower beer.

Sweet malty/grainy nose, big white head, hazy straw body. Apple flavor, distinct alcohol presence. Only a little spicy.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2005 Golden colour with orangey shine. White head, lacy. Warm grain in the nose, some alcohol. Cooked vegetable (DMS?). Taste gives sweet malt and slightly bitterish at the same time, + prickly carbonation which results in a nice balance. There is alcohol burn, and the sweetness in the taste becomes distinctly honey-ish, long lingering. A nice beer, nothing spectacular.

Light golden hay, beautiful large sparkling head. Light pilsner hop aroma, some floral aromas and perfume as well. . . Now this is belgian lace! Light fruit and spices, smooth yeast. . . A little lingering malt, honey and flowers. Great beer.
