Brewed at De Proefbrouwerij for Musketiers.

’Troubadour’ is a deep blond beer with 6,5 % alc. and a second fermentation on the bottle. This second fermentation is responsible for the higher alcohol percentage and the further evolution of the beer in the bottle. When poured out in a suitable glass, ’Troubadour’ has a thick white tenacious head. The first contact with the tongue results in a lovely sparkling feeling. The flavour is characterised by a mild bitterness and is somewhat spicy, followed by a pleasant sweet aftertaste and dry finish. The aroma is mainly characterised by the spicy hop flavours, accompanied by a light fruity flavour. Troubadour Blond is an authentic beer, consisting of the basic elements : pilsner malt, water, hop and yeast.

Discreta blond, ben stritturata e con un punta amara equilibrata. Nulla di travolgente ma di compagnia.

Beautiful durable foam and a lovely aroma of orange peel. Tastes lovely mellow with notes of orange and citrus. It’s a very kind of really blond ale, and it has good fruity taste with a subtle hoppy bitterness.

Von der Idee her ganz in Ordnung, aber eigentlich recht klassich und langweilig. Etwas hefig, dazu ein wenig Hopfen, etwas Frucht, ordentlich Kohlensäure. Kann man mal trinken.

The beer has got a cloudy golden-yellow colour with a steady head and smooth body. Aroma of flowers and Belgian yeast. Taste of Belgian yeast, hops, flowers, caramel, malt, bread. Yeasty finish.

Bottle 33cl. Yellow, almost clear with a medium white head that stays nicely. The nose has fruits but also a typical cardboard touch. Can’t say I enjoy it. The taste is strangely bitter with Co2 and a sort of medical aftertaste. Not your average blond beer.

Appearance is golden and a little cloudy, a 1-2 finger rocky white head which lasts. Aroma- banana, citrus, spices, wheat, malts, yeast, sugary candy. Taste- lemon, zest, sweets, sugary banana, lots of spiciness, bitter, slightly hoppy and fruity finish. Creamy and fairly full mouthfeel. Very nice.

Hazy golden orange, big white head. Nose is malt, grain, fruity notes and mild sweetness. Flavor is sweet grain, mild floral-fruity notes, hops. Lingering malt and hops. Pretty nice and very drinkable.

Bottle in Trembling Madness, York. Pours blonde with a white head. The taste is sweet with spice and caramel. Feels a bit boozy for the strength. Creamy mouthfeel.

33cl bottle at home from Mitra, Maarssen. Body is cloudy orange, head is big, white, rocky, mostly lasting, good lacing. Nose is floral, light cereal, flavor is fruity, apple, corn, light lemon peel, light spices. Medium sweet, medium bitter, hint of fruity sour. Finish is medium lasting light bitter light sour, slightly acidic. Medium body, dry texture, average carbonation. Easy, refreshing, interesting but not my favorite blond beer.
