Brewed at De Proefbrouwerij for Musketiers.

’Troubadour’ is a deep blond beer with 6,5 % alc. and a second fermentation on the bottle. This second fermentation is responsible for the higher alcohol percentage and the further evolution of the beer in the bottle. When poured out in a suitable glass, ’Troubadour’ has a thick white tenacious head. The first contact with the tongue results in a lovely sparkling feeling. The flavour is characterised by a mild bitterness and is somewhat spicy, followed by a pleasant sweet aftertaste and dry finish. The aroma is mainly characterised by the spicy hop flavours, accompanied by a light fruity flavour. Troubadour Blond is an authentic beer, consisting of the basic elements : pilsner malt, water, hop and yeast.

Body is fijn. Mooie textuur.

From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a big, white, creamy head. Aroma has honey, lots of wheaty grains, light hops, spice, clove, esters, white pear, plums, light banana. Taste is rather sweet with a certain dryness mid sip leading to a sightly bitter, spicy finish. High carbonation and creamy, slightly boozy body.

Drank 09-06-16 with Rik and Lennart while watching the Castle finale. Not bad for such a beer. But still mediocre. Medium fresh, a bit neutral.

Gott!

Nice blonde; nose has hay and is slightly herbal, and (with lacing) suggested a dash of wheat (not in ingredients list, though). Honeyed depth of Leffe, but perhaps just a tad bit under-spiced in the mouth (but again, you get a herbal, almost liquorice vibe). Med-long finish. Interesting blonde that gets more interesting when you really get under it.

Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione alta. Al palato ancora note speziate ed erbacee.

From elcervecero. In La Trappe chalice. Watching True Detective 1x04. Fruity, tropical, herbal, reminds me their "magma" ipa and Feuillien blonde but i enjoyed this more. May be getting used to this flavor profile. BB next month.
