Brewed at De Proefbrouwerij for Musketiers.

’Troubadour’ is a deep blond beer with 6,5 % alc. and a second fermentation on the bottle. This second fermentation is responsible for the higher alcohol percentage and the further evolution of the beer in the bottle. When poured out in a suitable glass, ’Troubadour’ has a thick white tenacious head. The first contact with the tongue results in a lovely sparkling feeling. The flavour is characterised by a mild bitterness and is somewhat spicy, followed by a pleasant sweet aftertaste and dry finish. The aroma is mainly characterised by the spicy hop flavours, accompanied by a light fruity flavour. Troubadour Blond is an authentic beer, consisting of the basic elements : pilsner malt, water, hop and yeast.

Bottle. A sweet smell of vanilla, light sour aroma of yeast, also some sugar. The head is very large, white and foamy with a long duration. The body is yellow. A light bitter taste, hops, a little bit metallic. The body is light to medium strong, creamy with a soft carbonation.

330ml bottle. Pours hazy gold with white head. Floral aromas with undertones of grass. Berry flavours - well bodied and smooth finish with moderate sweetness - certainly not over-powering. An OK belgian ale.

Hazy golden color, long lasting high head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, mix of yeast and floral hops. Slighty bitter aftertaste with citrus background. Probably best blond yet

Bottle. Pours golden with a withe head. Aroma: hay, floral, herbs. Taste follow aroma, with added fruit (gooseberries, white grapes). Well bodied, smooth beer, moderate malty sweetness, a little sour and a somewhat bitter finish. Nice Belgian blond, but nothing special.

33 cl bottle in Leuven. Hazy orange vivid with a white tick head. Nose of yeast, citrus and flowers. Mouth: bitter final with Belgian yeast notes all well balanced. Typical Belgian ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Delicious blond beer. Not strong in alcohol, but full of flavour. Tastes a little bit like Corse.donk.
