Pours dark brown and clear, with large beige head, good retention. Aroma of coffee, plums, roasted malts and a bit dusty. Taste of chocolate, dried fruits. Bitter with some sweetness in aftertaste. Full body with oily texture and mild carbonation. Nice and well balanced.

pours black, or better to say, dark brown, clear, with creamy long retaining (practically till the end) light brown head. Visually high carbonation. Aroma: Belgian yeasts - results: fruity esters, which takes on dark fruits, figs, plums, cherries, blueberries, prunes, supported with dark and roasted malts aroma, which takes on dark chocolate, espersso coffee... Flavor: similar to aroma, with fruity esters, which takes on dark fruits, mentioned above, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, hint of vanilla, cinnamon.... Finish is slightly sticky, bitter and lingers long in aftertaste. Body is medium to full. texture silky smooth, carbonation is medium.

Eructoblaster (3842) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 4, 2016
Bottle - 330ml. Pours an opaque, very dark brown body with an average, lasting, beige foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with plummy and some subtle chocolate hints. Alcohol is very well hidden. Its well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries plummy and woody notes. Ends with a long, robust, woody finish. Enjoyable, although it lacks complexity for an Imperial Stout.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Grumbo (1340) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2016
Bottle at The Arcade Tavern, Ipswich. Poured a very dark brown colour with a tan colour head. Aroma of roasted chocolate, malt and dried fruits. Light sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Soft carbonation. Unexpected thinness to texture. This one lacked the ’wow’ I normally associate with this style.
