Bottle from Trembling Madness, York. Inky black with ruby highlights and a thick white-tan head of foam. It has chocolate and liquorice flavours with red fruit and a spicy, tart fruity Old Ale style flavour and finish. Very Nice!

Soon good. They nailed it with this one. Nothing’s off, everything’s perfectly balanced.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 16.03.2018
Aroma is rather neat with belgian yeast and sweet licorice tones. Flavour has licorice, fruity yeast and spicy notes. A bit too foamy palate. A stout with nice Belgian twist, reminds me of Malheur Dark Brut.

Nez café et boisé avec une touche caramel pour la douceur. En bouche, beaucoup de café/caramel. Un fond d’amertume de la torréfaction qui donne un côté boisé.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2016 Dark almost red brown colour with some aciduous notes but roasted character. Initial taste is rather light for a stout but lasting really long. Some ripe fruits as well along, figs and dates.

Nera, schiuma marroncina abbondantissima e duratura. Odore di malto tostato, caramello, caffè. Sapori tostati, caramellati, amaro finale di luppolo e di malto tostato, molto lungo. Forte e corposa. I Moschettieri non sbagliano.
