75cl butelka. OCZY : ciemno-brązowy kolor ze sporą i wytrwałą pianą o kolorze beżowym. NOS : armaty świeżo zaparzonej kawy, czarnej czekolady, twarogu, śliwek, rodzynek, orzechów. USTA : piwo jest gęste i oleiste. Średnio gazowane. Jest to raczej słodki stout z nutami suszonych, ciemnych owoców i wanilii. Następnie cierpki i gorzki smak podobny do smaku kawy. Lekko anyżowy. Posmak przypomina czarna czekoladę z rodzynkami. ODCZUCIA : Jedynie podpalane nuty słodu i różnią go od typowego Quada belgijskiego. Pozytywnie podobny do FES Guinessa. OCENA : smak : 7/10 pijalność : 5/10

On tap at Brugge beer festival 2014, Belgium. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate, quite bitter. Quite good but ought to be more complex.

On tap at Royal Oak Beer Fest. Beautiful dark pour. Very creamy mouthfeel. Perfect balance of dark fruits, subtle candi sugar, and charred malts. ABV noticeable, but not overly sweet.

Aroma: Roast, malt, hint of chocolate, liquorice, coffee Appearance: thick frothy, off white head, dark brown, red glow-ish, full lace Taste: Very good stout with wonderful liquorice, roasty, coffee caramel finish, but with the belgian touch, that little soury fruity twist, for an un-aged stout very well balanced

750 ml bottle. This is no imperial stout, it is too watery and thin for that. I like the smoked and slightly peated notes, but it is all kind of... well... not living up to the expectations (not to say it is bad). It is nothing more than a belgian ale with some more balls, but it lacks the full aroma and taste of a true imperial stout, even the Belgian and/or Dutch style stouts. Bummer.

Bottle at Gainsbar. Dark brown black, big creamy golden head. Aroma is oaty, lightly roasty, lots of wheat, dark chocolate, bitter and burnt. Taste is really malty, touch of light coffee, lots of roast. Slightly sweet, but with burnt elements. Liquorice. Lovely stuff
