3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Royal Oak Beer Fest. Beautiful dark pour. Very creamy mouthfeel. Perfect balance of dark fruits, subtle candi sugar, and charred malts. ABV noticeable, but not overly sweet.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma: Roast, malt, hint of chocolate, liquorice, coffee Appearance: thick frothy, off white head, dark brown, red glow-ish, full lace Taste: Very good stout with wonderful liquorice, roasty, coffee caramel finish, but with the belgian touch, that little soury fruity twist, for an un-aged stout very well balanced

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
750 ml bottle. This is no imperial stout, it is too watery and thin for that. I like the smoked and slightly peated notes, but it is all kind of... well... not living up to the expectations (not to say it is bad). It is nothing more than a belgian ale with some more balls, but it lacks the full aroma and taste of a true imperial stout, even the Belgian and/or Dutch style stouts. Bummer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
.75 bottle. Black. But not totally impenetrable. Soft roasty chocolate. Surprisingly light tho. Easy to down. But I’m missing some of the intensity IS usually have. Dangerous drink.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 75 CL. Pours black with huge foaming brown white head. Notes of milk chocolate, coffee, roasted nuts. Very light for an imperial stout. Interesting, could be more of complex and stronger taste. Hides the alcohol very well, abv almost non existent in taste.
