Bottle from the Trembling Madness Drinks Shop. Pours deep brown with a good foamy beige head. Much lighter in colour than youd expect. Good sweet coffee aroma. The taste starts quite spicy before liquorice and berries. Dry coffee in the finish. A little tinny in the aftertaste. A bit different and a decent beer, but not a great example of the style.

Almost black colour, with a thin diminishing head that leaves a good lace. Smell of dried fruits, tobacco, some coffee. Medium body, viscous palate. Taste of coffee, dried fruits, tobacco notes, chocolate. Not exactly the best. one, but its OK.

a little thin for the style with a little bit of ash in there as well. Otherwise, a solid interpretation of the style. Strong roasted malt and a hoppier and more bitter finish than expected.
