75 cl fles. Mooi bruin schuim. Typische stout-smaak. Caramel en chocolade. Zeer lekker. Niets negatiefs te vermelden.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2013 Holy crap this is good. About one of the best beers I’ve ever tasted in my life. It’s aroma refers to coffee and dark chocolate. But most of all I was extremely surprised by it’s brandy-like aftertaste which is nothing less than a true treat. Someone put a lot of love into this beer.

Taste from the bottle. Milk chocolate, yeasty, toast aromas. Black colour, with delicate cleared flashes. Clear. Impressive, big, slowly disappearing creamy head. Medium sweet. A bit of bitterness (like from dark chocolate). Medium/full body. Average carbonation. Strongly suggested to taste.

Dobry imperialny stout. Zapach kawowy, czekoladowy i tostowy. W smaku kawa gozkie espresso, czekolada deserowa i mus czekoladowy. Przeplata sie to z nieco slodowoscia i czekoladowym wykonczeniem. Ciekawe i troche inne imperialne Stout. Elegancka butelka lakierowana zacheca do konsumpcji

75 cl. bottle/shared@Kulminator: dark brown – slightly going to black with a deeply tanned head, taste is very bitter, very strongly roasted coffee & malts, nearly burned but not there yet, going into slight bitter ashes in the aftertaste, bitter deeply roasted aftertaste, underneath that there is some fresh coffee beans, cacao, hint of liquorice, very bitter chocolate with some chocolate truffles buried underneath, hint of berries, nice one, I am digging this

This stuff pours masterfully. The head is easily manipulated after a few minutes but always substantial. The aroma is pretty yeasty and fascinating in complexity. The palate is various and the taste is as good as the aroma. This became my favorite beer when I found that I liked the art that’s achieved through dark IPA. I am a stout fan and IPA fan in particular. I am not a fan of Belgians or Trappists. Or the ones I’ve tried...

Black. The head has a dark, cream colour. Aroma of burnt malts and a hint of sweet liquorice. Rich texture, silky. Flavour of roasted malts, caramel, cocoa.

Pours dark ruby with a large light tan head. Smell hints of milk chocolate and dry roast. Taste is malted milk chocolate, dry roastiness, and a touch of dry bitterness. Full bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Troubadour Imperial Stout finishes with a lingering dry bitterness.
