Leuk initiatief, 0,75l fles. Zeer hoppig in de neus, ook wat sinaas. kleur is verder licht koper, pale ale. Schuimkraag is zeer wild (rustig inschenken is de boodschap). Smaak is bitter, fruitig/citrus. Nasmaak heeft wat gisttoetsen. Zoals ik al vaak gelezen en gehooord heb vind ik de gewone magma toch wel beter! Benieuwd naar volgende editie

Bottle. Bright orange pour with some haziness - monster foamy white head. Nose and taste of citrus, some yeast, some spice, lemon - really nice. Some hop elements to cut the sweetness too. Good stuff. Thanks Trev!

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. pours hazy orange gold with a 3 finger creamy near-white head. Wow. The aroma is richly fruity in both citrus and non-citrus ways. Bubble gum game to mind, but no. Med body. Flavor is very rich, bitter and fruity, and a lot of it is citrus rind. Maybe pink grapefruit rind? It finishes both sweet and bitter, but a lot more bitter. Really excellent ale. De Proef did one heck of a job here.

Bottle. Hazy golden beer with a frothy white head. Inticing aroma of Belgian yeast and American hops. Notes of citrus, phenols, peach, malts. Smooth, yet heavy bitter in the mouth. Sweet malts, fruity hops, slightly astringent finish. Nice!
