Bottle, bought @ Barley Wine, Cph.
Pours clear orange with a big, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma has lots of delicious fruit, grapefruit, apricot, peach, citrus. A bit of green apple. Highish carbonation, oily and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is mildly vinious, very dry and bitter, grapefruit, citrus, fairly crisp malts. Lingering, warming, fresh bitter finish. Lovely.

loving the idea of a new genre of Belgian pale ales out there. the marriage of big American hops with Belgian Tripel strenghts sounds appealing. This beer pours rich, dark golden, huge, fluffy off-white head. lots of carboation. nose of citrus, grapefruit, grassy malts, wheat, faint pine and resin, honey.real appetizing. subtle Belgian yeast sweetness, esters, honey, caramel malts, earthy pine notes then bitter, dry finish finish. real creamy mouthfeel and simply well balanced. Great BPA.

On tap at Paradiso Dupont...much darker than a typical tripel...was more the color of a quad. I couldn’t tell me for the hops this was smooth and sweet and pretty tasty overall. Didn’t have the complexity of some of the best tripels, but tasty and good on a cold night.
