750ml bottle. Hazy vibrant amber with a nice creamy head. Quite fruity with some peach and orange with a bit of creamsicle note, some caramel and pine. Moderate body and carbonation, slightly sweet but then more bitter, very fruity as it dries out with some apricot and more creamsicle. Tasty.

Appearance: hazy amber with a big, thick white head, that’s slowly dropping and leaving nice lacing on the glass
Aroma: huge, intense aroma - there’s caramel, bread, pineapple, resin, flowers, pine... Everything!
Taste: sweet, fruity and citrusy. Also some toasty notes. Alcohol is present, but makes everything taste even better. Medium bitterness, could be higher I guess.
Mouthfeel: full bodied, medium carbonation
Overall: this is a big beer. And not just because it’s in a 750ml bottle (the bottle is superb, beautiful etc., I love it and I’m gonna keep it). I don’t usually drink sweet IIPA’s but this one is great, because there’s so much more to it than just the sweetness. Highly recommended beer!

Wspaniale piwo aromatyczne pachnace lekko zywicznoscia i syropem klonowym. Piana poterzna i trwala. Kolor ciemno pomaranczowy, bardzo metny. Butelka elegandzka, lakierowana. Australijski chmiel wyraznie roznil sie od tych ktore poznalem. W smaku piwo przejawialo mieszanke cytrusowa z opiekanymi tostami, a takze karmelowoscia. Wspaniale w smaku tresciwe i lekko ciezkie. Ale to same plusy wiec niczego szczegolnie nie moge sie przyczepic.

Like an aged American strong, with a big mouthfeel, and lots of hop and orange citrus flavour in the finish. Very well balanced. Thanks Boutip.

Thanks to boutip for this. Pours dark copper with a big light beige foamy head. Aroma is slight caramel and biscuit malt with floral and pine hop. Taste is biscuity malt with a touch of caramel sweetness. Nice floral and pine hop in the back end with moderate bitterness.

> An older bottle of what probably had potential as a sweeter, red DIPA

[ Bottle ][ Max’s BBF ][ 750mL ][ Stemmed Narrow Tulip ][ Tasting ][ 2/15/14 ]
>> Thank you Travlr for the share. Tremendous head and lace on a hazy, glowing orange pour. Nose is funky, cheesecloth, brie cheese, a bit stale. Taste is somewhat plastic, chalky, dusty, mildly cheesy. Not too bitter. Not so bad. No Galaxy hop nose remains.

<!> heavy yeast in suspension, stale/cheesy hops
