Tripel IPA, from the tap at beerfestival in Mechelen, served a bit too cold. Orange body, nice white head. A lot of fruit in the nose. Very strong body, a bit too overpowered, but full of exotic fruit (lyche, limon). Very bitter aftertaste. Better than the 2012 edition with Sorachi Ace, but still fancy the original one.

DWF; Take away from KRIEK Belgian Pub & Cafe, Poznan. Bottle 750 ml. Pours huge, hazy gold with a tan, frothy, lasting and lacing head. Nose is moderate, malt, caramel, spice citrus fruit and yeast. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, balancing with a lasting sweet citric, spice, light warming finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Thanks to KRIEK.

75cl bottle shared with Mike & Simon F @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy murky brownish orange with large off-white head. Big citrus orange aroma jumping out the glass, clearly massively hopped. Big hoppy taste with bucketloads of orange and tropical fruit with a touch of Belgian spice. Very good this, but the tripel yeast pips it to the post.

Golden amber and cloudly appearance. Strong fruity and malty aroma. Flavour is very hoppy and well balanced, not so hoppy as most DIPAs more Belgian in character.
