Brutálisan ütős kis söröcske, csodálatosan szétterjedő szájaromatizálással.

On Tap at YardHouse, Meridian ID Hazy dingy yellow amber witha small but fine and dense head. Classic Belgian yeast aroma but muted and soft. Some light fruitiness and pretty bitter for a Tripel.

White head, copper color, mills aroma with a strong spicy front taste. Strong hop aftertaste though muted compared to American IPA beers. At 9%, alcohol taste is present but not overwhelming.

330 ml bottle served in a tulip glass. Dark sunrise orange/almost amber, slightly hazy, with a big, frothy, off-white head which went away fairly quickly leaving a ring of foam. I’m sure it’s just me, but I can’t really appreciate Simcoe hops aroma that much, it just smell a bit unpleasent overall. There are some grassy notes, some cooked vegetables edges, some wood, toffee/caramel notes, some brown sugar as well. Harsh alchool burn during the first sip, not that bad after some minutes. Certainly very sticky and sweet like a barley wine, but doesn’t have the body to support that. In fact, it feels almost watery. Lingering fruity and nutty aftertaste. Soft carbonation, light to medium body, slightly oily texture. Mixed feelings about this one, not sure I’d buy it again.

Una cerveza muy redonda, con un sabor a lúpulo muy equilibrado. Muy muy recomendable.

Tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. Hazy orange shade with a fluffy white cap. Nice lacing too. Smells of caramel and apricot jam and follows that up in the taste. Doesn’t have the big pine notes or the huge bitterness of some American IPAs, although it’s not to my mind "Belgian" in too many ways. Trying to pigeonhole it proves difficult but it’s just a nice IPA on its own terms.

Shared a 33cl bottle from a friend. Pours a hazy orangish golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy, yeasty, citrus, fruity and slightly malty. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is a well balance between bitter and sweet, with a dry finish. No trace of the alcohol. Overall, a very good beer than I will sure taste again.

Pours a golden orange slightly unclear beer with a good white head. Smells fruity, sweet fruits. Tastes malts, sweet fruits. Not that bitter. Quite sweet. Average carbo, medium body and a dry sticky texture.

Location: Draft at Max’s on Broad, 5/3/14

Aroma: The aroma has some citrus hops, malty notes, and some yeast
Appearance: This one pours an unclear reddish-orange color with a beige head and average lace
Flavor: It has a flavor of citrus hops and yeast, with some malty flavors as well
Palate: The body is medium, it has a decent mouthfeel, and a somewhat dry finish
Overall Impression: This one is almost liked a hoppy version of a Belgian Blonde Ale. It works okay, but it wasn’t a favorite for me.
