Troubadour Magma is an amber colored beer with the bitterness of an American IPA but balanced with the fruitiness of a Belgian Triple. Enjoy the explosion of fruity aromas from the dry-hopping. -- A Triple IPA wich Czech bittering hops and Simcoe for Dry-hopping. Made by De Proef for Drie Musketeers, Ursel.

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy dark amber color. Small size, white head, stays. Good lacing. Fruity, oranges, citrus, sweet notes in aroma. Metallic, iron, dead slightly rotten oranges, papery yeast in taste. Fruity yet papery mouthfeel. Alcohol in aftertaste. As confusing as description of the beer. Lets throw some shit together and hope it works!

Bottle: Aroma is malty and fruity with dark sugar, tropical fruits, oranges, hops. Orange, hazy color, white head. Flavor is malty, light sweet and caramelic, fruity with notes of mangos, tropical fruits and herbal hops. Medium bitter finish. Tasty.

Ambrée trouble. Beau collet dense et orangé. Forte effervescence. Entré sucré. Belle amertume. Sucre d’orge. Fruité. Melon. Orange confite. Banane bien mûre. Épicé. Finale légèrement amère avec une pointe de sucre résiduel. Je ne considère pas cette bière comme une IPA mais plutôt une ambrée à la belge bien houblonné. Très bien.

Piana dość bujna, choć grubszych pęcherzy, szybko znika do małego krążka. Barwa pomarańczowa, mętna. Aromat przede wszystkim belgijski, dziki wymieszany z morelami, gumą balonową, czereśnią, głogiem, pikantnością i lekką żywicą. Czuć delikatny DMS i miód. W smaku na pierwszym planie owocowa słodkość, nuty podobne do Tripla (brzoskwinie, rodzynki, suszone owoce połączone z sianem i czerwonym pieprzem), goryczka średnia, pestkowo-alkoholowa. Nasycenie CO2 średnie do niskiego.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2015 Draft at BXL East. Lemony start. Lemony finish. And not in one way negative. It's a Belgian beer with reserve. Sweet flavor. Golden pour. Great carbonation, sticks to the tongue not a second longer than it should. Unexpected delight. No lava flows here folks.

Hazy orange coloured beer with a small but stable white head. Aroma of citrus and spices. Sweet and malty flavour, again with a strong presence of citrus and spices. (Bottle 33cl)

This is my favorite belgian beer. Not too hoppy but pretty malt forward. Tastes delicious and is a staple of my new years parties.
