Bottle [330ml] at Bistro L’Autre Oeil, Aylmer. Pours a murky orange-amber with a massive rocky long-lasting white head. Good lacing. Aroma: Oh yeah, didn’t expect that, nice citrusy hops first followed by tropical fruit and some malt in the back. Delicious hoppy flavour, again citrusy hops first followed by tropical fruit and malt and adds some pepper and a touch of alcohol -- this is Belgian?! Medium to full bodied. A pleasant surprise, a great Belgian (!) DIPA!

Bottled. An orangey amber coloured beer with a whitish pool of head and lacing. A nice jammy fruity aroma. Good orangey US hops in this. Sticky citrus in the mouth. Good deep flavours. A long finish. Really good.

White, creamy head. Aroma of american hops (bit astringent), citrus, lemon: nice and quite complex. Heavily bitter, lightly sweet flavour.

Pours murky copper color, with white head. Aromas of bread, banana, and some citrus. Taste is mildly sweet, light bitterness, and earthiness in the malts. Palate is dry, smooth, almost creamy. Overall, a well rounded beer and great blend of trippel and IPA. Yum.

Bottle: Hazy light amber coloured beer with a medium off white head. It has a very hoppy nose with hints of grapefruit. It has a very dry hoppy india pale ale flavor. A surprisingly good beer.

Pours a deep dark orangish amber color. Aromas of big hop action, sweet malts, and more hops. Flavor has some bready maltsy tastes with nice grapefruit and floral hop taste. This is one hoppy sumbitch.

An opaque reddish brown beer with no carbonation but lots of yeast floating around. Lichee passion fruit smell(!), strawberries. Sour-sweet smell. Rather citric with a nice sour-bitterness. There’s the lichee again, an original and interesting beer.

Draft. Pours hazy copper with a medium beige head that leaves a nice sheet of lacing. Aromas of sweet citrus, caramel, and some lemon peel. The flavor is bitter citrus peel, orange, grapefruit, and a sweet fruit finish with prune and sugar-covered citrus rind. Very smooth and creamy, a great mouthfeel. Very good. [876]

UPDATED: APR 15, 2013 Prachtig troebel amberkleurig bier met mooie witte kraag. Friszoet, hoppig en wat citrusvruchten. Goed in balans. Nasmaak blijft zoet met later wat meer nadruk op bitter. Lekker bier!

draft @ Moeder Lambic, Fontainas.
