Troubadour Magma is an amber colored beer with the bitterness of an American IPA but balanced with the fruitiness of a Belgian Triple. Enjoy the explosion of fruity aromas from the dry-hopping. -- A Triple IPA wich Czech bittering hops and Simcoe for Dry-hopping. Made by De Proef for Drie Musketeers, Ursel.

Pours hazy light amber. Large white-yellow head. Aroma of hops, citrus, flowers. Not nearly as bitter as a typical IPA this Belgium style triple IPA is very mellow and complex in flavor, with malt tones and not dominated by bitter hops. Very pleasant with no alcohol burn. Dry finish.

courtesy of fiulijn - clear amber-orange beer with a long lasting pale beige foam; nice lace; herbal hops with notes of straw in the nose, hints of tropical fruits below; full-bodied, pretty sweet, grainy yet creamy palate; robust and well-integrated bitterness; some residual sugars; the finish is mainly flowery and herbal with notes of caramel

On keg at Six Degrees North, Edinburgh. Appearance - golden brown with a nice fluffy head. Nose - toffee and nuts. A hint of red fruit. Taste - more toffee and nuts. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Sweet but tangy. Overall - yeah, good. Not an Imperial IPA. Either an English or Belgian Strong Ale.

Pours a dark golden yellow, with some decent head on it. Nose wasn’t too strong - maybe it was too cold off the tap. Some banana, perhaps. But man. This tastes delicious. I’d describe it as a blend between a tripel and an APA; the tripel takes the forefront, with banana and clove and sweet smooth delicious, then some bittering hops take away the sweetness, but not in the overpowering way a double IPA might. It finishes crisp, yet with a touch of lingering banana. Very balanced.

Tap@Kompasset. Pours hazy orange golden with lazing offwhite head. Aroma has light malt, biscuit, caramel and a resinous, citrus hoppiness. Taste is malty with biscuit, caramel and hoppy with grass, citrus, resin and apricot notes. Finish is quite dry and bitter with long resinous hoppiness. Good one!
