Served in a tulip from a 330ml bottle. Pours hazy orange amber colour with a thick off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, yeast, citrus and grassy hops. Taste is caramel, bread, spicy orange peel, slightly sweet, finishing off with a subtle bitter aftertaste. Full creamy body with medium carbonation. Excellent and tasty.

330ml bottle at the Head of Steam, Durham. Pale orange with a frothy pale yellow head. Bread and cheddar aroma, with very faint IPA bitterness. Very faint whiskey flavour and hoppy bitterness, but otherwise unremarkable.

Blonde orangée assez claire, belle mousse blanche.

Ahh, a great choice here ! I already tried the Obscura variation during a previous beer-madness-evening, a very pleasant one, this one puts the bar just a bit higher. Generous taste with a decent alcohol level, great aftertaste that leaves you in extase, coffe-like, begging for more of it. A quality dark beer that goes great with dry sausage to eat along with ! APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW !

330 ml bottle. Hazy orange body capped by a creamy and lasting white head. Funk, peaches, lemon, pepper and flowers in the nose. Taste opens up with soft fruit flavours of baked apples and stonefruit before a firm pepper and grapefruit zest bitterness sweeps through. Lingering bitter finish leads into a full fruity aftertaste. Enjoyed this a lot.
