I think this bottle has been aged several years, but no date to confirm. From Pacific Liquor in San Diego. The abv is 8.2% in a 750 ml bottle with a raised decal on the dark brown glass. First class appearance, dark brown with a reddish hue...sustaining, creamy, tan head with a blanket of lacing. Aroma of brown sugar, caramel, cherry, raisin, bubblegum. Very similar to a doppelbock in many aspects. There is a slight chocolate presence. Smooth, sweet and fruity finish. Would repeat.

Interesting brew. Bottle reads 9% Mild Stout but I can’t find a reason to believe this is one and the same. I found there to be more going on in my glass than what I see in the deScription...I sensed a fruitiness. No bitter though not sweet, just mild and easy to drink. Though not a brew that I would seek out...I do enjoy the malt of this and didn’t have bit of a problem drinking it.

Pours dark brown with ample tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, malts, and maybe chocolate. Taste is rich, Belgian-like but darker. Smooth and drinkable. An interesting and tasty brew. Thumbs up.

Aroma of coffee and plums. Moderate sweet at the begining, followed by moderate bitternes. Tastes of coffe, candied sugar and a hint of malt, with a liquorice aftertaste. Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.
