very nice troubadour again... it is in everything the darker part of the Magma... aroma full of hops (early on), roasted malts and hints of chocolat and coffee... nice balanced bittersweet taste... the magma is better because of itís fuller body

Bottle from notes. Pours a dark brown color with a large, fluffy ivory colored head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, cocoa powder, light roast, a slight woody character, thin body for the flavors and a light earthy bitterness to the finish.

Pours dark with a nice, big creamy dark head which leaves a nice thick film. Good lacing. Aroma of roasty caramel and a little clove. Oily texture, medium body, good carbonation. Taste is a little roasty, with moderate sweetness.

Bottle. Poured into trappist glass, dark brown color with tall, creamy and lasting head. Good lacing. Aroma of coffe and roasted malts with chocolate and burnt sugar notes. Taste is mostly the same with pleasant, warming alcohol and creamy mouthfeel. I bought this beer haphazardly and Iím surprisingly satisfied. Reminds me more Imperial Stout rather than Belgian Ale but itís really good.

Yeasty spicy. Alcoholic bready taste. Heavy mouthfeel maybe due to my reflux problems.

Dark brown, hazy colour and big beige head. Aroma and taste have light chocolate, coffee, red fruit, vanilla, gingerbread, hoppy bitterness and some irony off-tones. Dry chocolate aftertaste. Lively carbonation, good body, prickling mouthfeel.

330 ml, flaske, 8,2 % ABV, købt i Den Belgiske Ølbutik i Vanløse, 11. september 2014.
