very nice troubadour again... it is in everything the darker part of the Magma... aroma full of hops (early on), roasted malts and hints of chocolat and coffee... nice balanced bittersweet taste... the magma is better because of it’s fuller body

Appearance is mahogany, with a 2-3 finger light brown thick head. Aroma- lots of it- malty bread, Belgian yeast, cherry skin, plum, raisin, fruitcake, cherry cake. Taste- cherry, raisin, brown sugar, a bit of fluffy banana in the background, yeasty, fruit and nut chocolate, some brown malty bread, malt loaf. Fluffy and full mouthfeel. Good stuff.

Aroma of caramel, not overwhelming. Beautiful liquid color for the eye. Very sweet and you can’t feel the 8,5% of alcohol. Palate with a light body, soft carbonation and sweet finish.

On bottle fro Drankenzentrale du Hopduvel, Gent. Amber color, slightly hazy with good foam. Medium/high aroma intensity; dried fruits, malt, yet fresh with some citrus and very good yeast influence. Medium body & complexity. Some sweetness, balances well. Very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A fruity belgian porter, or a roasted malty belgian brown ale. Either way, it is remarkably drinkable and yet complicated. It has a nice fresh smell of coffee and chocolate. It is a little sour, a nice fruity sweetness, all in bath of roasted malty goodness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy (iOs)

Bottle at Doerak. Dark brown with big off white head. Sweet malts, cocoa, soft coffee notes, light herbs and some marzipan. Quite sweet with light herbal bitter finish. Sweet without too much character, but not bad.
