Home from febr 2013. Hazy almost amber color, off-white head. Aroma spice notes, soft caramel, sweet. Medium body. Taste, spice notes again, malts, low bitterness, bit dry. Well balanced.

Just a simple Belgian blond beer. I guess they have this for people who want to drink pils. It’s a bit boring actually.

Bov (9492) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 22, 2014
courtesy of fiulijn - hazy dark copper-orange beer with a good head retention; nice lacework; yeasty aroma and with a faint fruityness; light metallic; the palate is a bit chewy, a good malt body, some bitterness, notes of tea and yeast in a quite dusty finish - not convincing

Bottled from Mitra Bunnik, BB 04/09/15, large sample, served in a tulip glass. Hazy orange to amber color, medium rocky slight off-white head, leaving quite some frothy lacing. Aroma is soft spicy, bit grassy, slight caramel, bit nutty, hint of toffee. Bit sweet in taste, slight bitterness, some metallic spicy belgian yeast note. Finish has more bitterness, slight dry. Bitter and caramelly sweetness play with each other. Well balanced. Medium carbonation, thin to medium bodied. Not my favorite style, but quite a nice beer.

Heldere koperen kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt zoetig, kers, mout. Smaakt dun, mout kruiden. Matig.

Hanoi (394) - Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2014
Nose is very earthy, dusty, Belgian yeast, lots of malt. Taste is very malty with biscuit, some red berry, leading to Belgian yeast. Mouthfeel is full. Feels like a Belgian skew of a British bitter, but it really is no great shakes.
