caesar (5640) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 19, 2014
Bottled from Mitra Bunnik, BB 04/09/15, large sample, served in a tulip glass. Hazy orange to amber color, medium rocky slight off-white head, leaving quite some frothy lacing. Aroma is soft spicy, bit grassy, slight caramel, bit nutty, hint of toffee. Bit sweet in taste, slight bitterness, some metallic spicy belgian yeast note. Finish has more bitterness, slight dry. Bitter and caramelly sweetness play with each other. Well balanced. Medium carbonation, thin to medium bodied. Not my favorite style, but quite a nice beer.

Hanoi (568) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2014
Nose is very earthy, dusty, Belgian yeast, lots of malt. Taste is very malty with biscuit, some red berry, leading to Belgian yeast. Mouthfeel is full. Feels like a Belgian skew of a British bitter, but it really is no great shakes.

langeveld12 (283) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 25, 2014
Pours an average off-white frothy head that mostly diminishes. Body is hazy amber, sparkles are visible. Aroma contains cookie, hay and caramel, grass, spruce and citrus fruits, horse blanket and soap and bubble gum and pineapple. Flavor uis light acidic, then some bitter and sweet and the finish is again light bitter. Body is light to medium with watery texture and soft carbonation. Not bad, nothing special.

Bottle. Light amber, hazy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light fruitiness. Body is light to medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light fruitiness, light metal. Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, some caramel, faint fruitiness and light - some sharp metal, faint hoppyness and light alcohol. Caramel sweetish amber with notes of sharp metal – lacks character.

Cloudy amber colour with a small white head. Mild fruitiness, caramel sweetness and mild yeastiness in the aroma. Not very strong. The flavour is mild hops, mild maltiness and mild bitterness. Quite mild all the way this is. A bit thin.
