Draught @ ZBF 2011 (zythos beer festival), Stadsfeestzaal St.-Niklaas, St.-Niklaas, Belgium.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, keller, light roasted, light moderate hoppy, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110305]

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruits, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish, with a metallic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

From tap at ZBF2011. Pours clear and dark golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight yeasty. Roasted breadish, slight cornish and mild bitterness coming through as flavours. Ends dry malty and slight bitter.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Comes as: "Troubadour Spéciale". Pours a hazy deep golden with a small off-white head. Dry hoppy aroma. Medium body, slightly fruity and slightly yeasty with a bitter finish. An odd beer and very atypically Belgian. 141111

Bottled (had as Troubadour Speciale, 5.7 % abv, thanks tdtm82!). Golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, and some mild yeast, glue and herbal notes. Flavour is quite standard Belgian blonde ale. Balanced, but not that special.

Draught at ZBF 2011. Clear amber coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of malts, caramel and hops with notes of bread. Sweet and malty flavour of caramel and hops. Hoppy finish.

Draft @ Fermentoren, Copenhagen as Troubadour Speciale. Pours a hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma with weak yeasty hints. Fruity malty grainy yeasty caramel flavor. Has a fruty malty grainy caramel finish.

Tap @ Carlsens Kvarter, Odense. Pours cloudy golden with a creamy head and lacings. Fruity and yeasty nose and flavor. Pretty dull and anonymous yeast strain. Grain and fruit mainly. Medium bodied. Bland.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are malt, yeast, fruits and hops. Notes of caramel as well. Sweet finish.

(33cl bottle, BB 02/03/13) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, candi sugar, earth,and coriander. Flavor of yeast, earth, citrus, and grass with a dry finish.
