Deeper amber colored, unclear, medium creamy off white head, nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, brewing sugar, some fruits, bit herbal, yeast. Taste is medium sweet sugary, caramel, bit toasted, some fruits, yeast, low-medium grassy bitter, some traces of oxidation. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation.

Bottle at the Dovetail, Farringdon. Amber, not quite clear, with a massive white head. Malty aroma, which is made less than enticing by metallic and vegetal notes. Reassurance in the quality of this beer comes via the taste. Sweet, with barley sugar and crystal malt. It feels a bit identikit... but let’s face it, ’just another Belgian beer’ is no bad thing. Needs more personality to rise above the ’enjoyable but forgettable’ tag.

330ml bottle (Wines of Gallillee, Tallinn)
Nice orange, tight head, quite persistent. sweetish malts, but sickly sharp berries too. Medium palate, some sweet stickiness, but quite crisp carbonation. pleasant roasty malts, a bit of huskiness. rather drinkable, Not saying 5.7% finish slightly sticky, later some dry to metallic bitterness.

330ml bottle. Clear amber color. Medium size, thick white head, stays. Looks fizzy. Sweet, malty, yeasty, something sharp and slightly rotten (not putting me off weirdly) in aroma. Bready, malty, papery yeast, caramel, bitter hops in taste. Bready caramel and bitter hops in aftertaste. Crisp mouthfeel. Bit dirty. Average brew.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 29.08.15. Dark golden. Off-white head and lacing. Fruity aroma and taste of Sevilla oranges and some pale malt, with good hop bitterness lingering on.

Slightly hazy orange beer, medium off-white head. Nose is warmly malty, some caramel sweetness, apricot notes, grain. Flavor is malt with toffee notes, toasty hints, grassy bitterness in the finish. Lingering hops and warm malt. Not bad at all.
