Very dark brown with a beautiful light brown head. Aroma of heavy roasted malts and coffe with a lot of hops. Taste is even stronger with a lot of hop bitterness, coffee and roasted malts and some alcohol. High, but nicely carbonated. Good body.

Sterke geur van geroosterd mout en krijt met appelschillen en koude koffie. Duidelijk geen amerikaanse hop deze hop is niet schreeuwerig aanwezig in de nasmaak wat de balans met de mout ten goede komt. Toch duidelijk citrusvruchten in de mond Heerlijke grashoppige boeren Het gebrande van de mouten blijft goed plakken Niet buitenissig maar wel geslaagd bier. De gist houd het bier mooi in evenwicht. Wals maar eens door je mond. Proost.

Roasty and hoppy flavor, bitter, with a bit of coffee, cocoa, light sweetness and a bitter herbal and piney finish. Medium-bodied. Quite nice.

Draught, 9,2%. Brown sugar aroma. Almost clear dark brown colour. Big stable tan head. The flavour is roasted and bready with a good vinous note.

33 cl. bottle sample @ Hogerdijk tasting, Culemborg. Black with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts and hops Really great beer, worthy to be rated after tasting a whole bottle.

taster at gollem antwerp . pours pretty black, grey/white foam . taste is medicinal hops ( dissapointment every time ! ) and some .. smokyness?? definetly unique , but not my piece of cake

750ml bottle @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Very dark brown, massive foamy head. Aroma of raisins, spices & hops. Dry raisins,hops & pine flavour. Fruity coffee aftertaste. Not a typical black IPA but still good.
