330 ml bottle, 9.2% abv. Dark cloudy brown with foamy head. sweet chokolate aroma. Taste is bitter with chokolate notes, but not very hoppy. Alcohol is well hidden initially but suddenly hits you. Somewhat light bodied considering the high abv.

Bottle 33cl. Dark brown, almost black. Light brown head. Aroma is lovely, with caramel and chocolate? The taste has the typical bitterness of IPA, but also has characteristics of a heavy double. Good one!

Wat een mooi bier is dit zeg. Een dubbele ipa, met zachte afdronk en het goeie van een stout.

This is a strange beer. It smells a bit like garbage to me. Some smoke, dried fruit, vegetation. Flavors are better. Mint, smoke, chocolate, coffee, caramel, vegetation. So weird. But in the end good.

Appearnce: Brown beer with a 1,5 fingers sized light brownish head, decent retention and leaving a small amount of lacing.
Aroma: Roasted malts ,nuts, coffee, Begian yeast and some resin hops. in the back.
Tase: Roasted malts, with some good coffee and chocolate ase,Followed by ,caramel and bread after thetgrapefruit and resinous hops.show up.The finish is light hopy wih also some cofee and licorice notes.
medium body, average carbonation.
A bit too heavy on the roasted malts parts and I prefer my Black IPA’s to be more hoppy, still not a bad brew.

Dark marooon body, brown head, nice lacing. Great aroma of dried fruit, a bit of resin and funk. Taste is nice, sticks to the Belgian style with sweet dried fruit malts but also a dark cocoa roast and some resin. Another new style invented. Not the Belgian IPA, but the Belgian Black IPA. Abv well masked. Overall very nice.

Brown beer, brown head. Nose is hops, malt, caramel, fruity notes. Flavor is roasty malt, hops, grapefruit, bread, caramel. Dry and hoppy finish with licorice notes. Lingering hops. Not exactly remarkable, but enjoyable nonetheless.
