Zapach średnio intensywny, czuć głównie palony słód, chmiel i karmel. Kolor ciemnobrązowy, zmętnione. Piana gęsta, drobno i średniopęcherzykowa, dosyć trwała i ładnie zdobiąca szkło. W smaku bardzo słodkie, karmelowe, palony słód, kawa i chmiel. Alkohol dobrze ukryty, goryczka średnia, wysycenie niskie. Fajne piwo, chociaż dla mnie trochę za słodkie.

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, dark fruit, chocolate, roasted malts and hops.

Opaque ruby/dark brown beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium beige head.

Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, dark fruit and chocolate; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts and hops.

This beer is intense, complex and balanced. The roasted malts and the hops are perfectly balanced thanks to the Belgian Yeast. Extremely drinkable and enjoyable thanks to this.

Bottle from Beer Express in Tallinn. Pours reddish brown with a lightish beige head. A Black IPA you say - get outta town. Exceptional lace. The aroma is sourish astringent fruity with a roasty - or more like toasty - undertone. A bit of booziness even lurking behind there. Later it starts to give off more proper BIPA notes like roast, coffee, chocolate... The flavour’s more roasty, with an almost ashy bitter finish. Quite a lot of herby, citric and dry bitterness. Lightish body, minimal carbonation. The alcohol remains pretty much hidden till the end, except for the active warmth in the throat. An interesting brew.

Delft 26-11-2015 Lekker donker bier.

Steigender Hopfen, wenig alkoholisch. Würzig hopfig röstig bleibend, süßlich, dann steigend alkoholisch. Eher trockenes Finish. 11/11/12/12/8/11

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 15.11.15. Ebony. Pale brown head and lacing. Aroma and taste of dark malt, roasted barley, chocolate, pine, dark syrup and tobacco. Quite dry. Scaringly high drinkability.

Nydelig. Overraskende lett ĺ helle over drřvelen - her gjelder det ĺ vćre forsiktig!

Marrón oscura, opaca, abundante espuma cremosa beige. Buen aspecto.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy dark brown-black in colour with liquorice, aniseed, chocolate, star anise and pear flavours followed by rich red fruit, currants and slight vanilla and oak on the sweet finish. Superb!

75 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with some sediment and an off-white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are herbs, roasted malt, and caramel - with a roasted finish.
