4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy dark brown with a decent beige head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malt with some herbal hops. Taste similar, sweet caramel and lots of chocolate to roasted coffee/charcoal and a bitter dry spicy herbal finish with maybe a touch of pine. Bit of alcohol heat. Medium to full bodied. Not as strong in the hops and bitterness as some BIPAs but still very nice.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance is very dark brown, pretty much opaque, a big, fluffy beige head which persists. Aroma- lots of hops, orange, marmalade, coffee, roast malt, fruity. Smells good. Taste- coffee, orange, milk chocolate, toast with marmalade, hints of burnt treacle, hops, pine, hint of lime juice, bitter finish. This is very good.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2015 BOTTLE 33 CL. The aroma starts with black malts and coffee beans, but the hops push them out. The hop aroma is bright „German”, intense grassy, lemongrass, astringent unripe fruit. Some smelly soft cheese rind too (yeast?). The taste is right in the middle between a stout (roasty, light chocolate-like sweetness) and an IPA (hoppy) with a strong spicy and grassy bitterness. A Black IPA that stands a little apart - no american hops, and the yeast is not American either.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cerveza extraña con toques amargos y dulces a la vez y con un sabor herbal bastante presente. Se deja beber y no parece que tenga los grados que tiene, pero si tengo otra opción, no repetiría a pesar de las buenas críticas que tenía.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
(Bottle) Clear dark reddish brown with big dense light tan head. Lovely complex aroma with chocolate, coffee, pine, pineapple, toffee and some interesting yeast notes. Medium to full bodied with lovely creamy soft carbonation. Excellent taste too: chocolate, coffee, toffee at the start with tangy fruity balancing notes developing in the mid palate which slide gently into a pleasant assertive crisp bitterness for a long finish. A great beer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JAN 27, 2015 Clear dark brown color with red hue, big tan head. Wonderful floral hops aroma. Taste is even better, begins with coffee/roasted malt and sweetness, then party of hops, tangerine, mango, a bit grassy with following bitterness, bittersweet finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, creamy texture. Not extremely bitter like BIPA’s can be, more like those fruity sweetish Imperial IPA’s, with addition of coffee notes. Just great.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle. Very dark brown color almost black. Thick beige yellowish head, stays. Caramel, rich roast, fruity, sweetish notes in aroma. Nice roast, mellow hops, juicy, sugary, malty and just a little bit of papery yeast in taste. Dry mouthfeel. Rich hoppy roast in aftertaste. Sweet medium body.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 75cl. Black with a light brown head. Roaste malt and coffee aroma. Flavours compliment the aroma but the hop experience increases throughout enjoying this glas of very nice beer.
