Hoppy and dark with a complex palate. Not as thick as it looks. It's like an IPA and a bock mixed together.

Cerveza extraña con toques amargos y dulces a la vez y con un sabor herbal bastante presente. Se deja beber y no parece que tenga los grados que tiene, pero si tengo otra opción, no repetiría a pesar de las buenas críticas que tenía.

(Bottle) Clear dark reddish brown with big dense light tan head. Lovely complex aroma with chocolate, coffee, pine, pineapple, toffee and some interesting yeast notes. Medium to full bodied with lovely creamy soft carbonation. Excellent taste too: chocolate, coffee, toffee at the start with tangy fruity balancing notes developing in the mid palate which slide gently into a pleasant assertive crisp bitterness for a long finish. A great beer.

HammerTroll (629) - Pula / Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 24, 2015
UPDATED: JAN 27, 2015 Clear dark brown color with red hue, big tan head. Wonderful floral hops aroma. Taste is even better, begins with coffee/roasted malt and sweetness, then party of hops, tangerine, mango, a bit grassy with following bitterness, bittersweet finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, creamy texture. Not extremely bitter like BIPA’s can be, more like those fruity sweetish Imperial IPA’s, with addition of coffee notes. Just great. (Magic Beer Room 0,33l bottle)

330ml bottle. Very dark brown color almost black. Thick beige yellowish head, stays. Caramel, rich roast, fruity, sweetish notes in aroma. Nice roast, mellow hops, juicy, sugary, malty and just a little bit of papery yeast in taste. Dry mouthfeel. Rich hoppy roast in aftertaste. Sweet medium body.

Bottle 75cl. Black with a light brown head. Roaste malt and coffee aroma. Flavours compliment the aroma but the hop experience increases throughout enjoying this glas of very nice beer.

W niezbyt intensywnym aromacie pierwsze skrzypce grają likier kawowy, czekolada i paloność a w głębi ziołowe nuty chmieli i suszone daktyle.

Tsekouratos (386) - Nea Filadelfeia, Athens, GREECE - JAN 12, 2015
330 ml bottle from Beer-Shop.gr, Athens Greece. Dark brown head, beige head. Hoppy aromas, maybe caramel, roasted. Taste is bitter, with roasted, clack chocolate and caramel, with hops on the finish, pine, maybe some fruits. Aftertaste is bitter and long. Medium body with medium carbonation.

Pours a dark brown color, topped with a decent beige colored head. Slightly roasty arome, nice fruity notes and some bourbon-like aroma later on. Taste is sweet with very pleasant notes of caramel. Slightly roasty body with some final bitterness, mild altogether. Creamy and smooth, easily drinkable despite being 9,2%. A really nice surprise.

Bottle. Dark brown, coffee color. Nice large foam head. Very, very fruity aromas, discernible from across the table. Pineapple, lychee, coffee and cream, hint of licorice. Surprising aromas for this color. Taste: virtually all aromas disappear and it turns into a very agreeable stout with a distinct coffee-candy undertone. Roasted malts, slightly oily. Weird but not bad.

A beautiful deep black colour, a great hoppy, coffee nose, an amazing coffee and licorice taste with a nice bitterness and a long finish. What a good beer!
