COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth, refreshing golden ale that is full-bodied and has a distinctive hop flavour. Brewed using the best two-row Maris Otter pale malt interwoven with a complimentary selection of speciality malt for a robust taste. It is hopped with a combination of traditional English and modern American hops, to produce a beer with subtle fruit flavours and a crisp, lingering finish. 4.3% A.B.V. Slainté.

A spicy nose which reminds slightly of a saison, though no saison flavours to be found so likely to be English hops. Slightly hazy golden beer with sweet maltiness and just a hint of citrus flavours from hops.

The head is ok, the body a bit brown and clear. It smells hoppy, a bit bitter, malty. The taste is mild, hoppy, malty, balanced, a bit sweet, fruity. Easy drinkable and mild Ale. 12/11/10/11/-/11

500ml bottle from Abbot’s Ale House, present from a friend. Pours a clear golden with a thing white bubbly head. Aroma has strong marijuana-like notes from the hops, with the malty grass and bready aromas coming through after. Medium sweetness and light hop bitterness in the taste. Quite a dry and slightly bitter finish with sparkling carbonation. Average enough beer, grand for a session.

Pours a light golden colour, with a quickly vanishing head. Unfortunately, not Trouble’s finest hour: while there is a strong hoppy aftertaste, the beer itself is unpleasantly watery, making it little more than lightly carbonated beer-water.

Bottle. Aroma is earthy but clean. No hoppy smell. Initial taste of burnt caramel but smooth with subtle honey tones. Aftertaste is better as flavors mellow. Whiskey golden color with slight head that fizzled away quicly. Not particularly moorish...nice to try but doesnt invite you back

Clear hold in the glass, fizzy head which quickly disappears. Toasted malt, bread and grain in the aroma. More toasted malt with highlights of butterscotch and a very moderate hop backbone. Not much carbonation. Very short finish. This was a gateway beer to craft for me and I think that’s where it is aimed.

Alla spina @ Bierhouse in Galway. Cristallina, aroma fruttato, pesca, frutta esotica, in bocca un po’ troppo solforosa.

Pours a clear golden color with a thin head. Aroma is sickly. So is the flavor. I don’t know the flavor but I’m not going to try it again to see. Do not like.
