Bottle. Pours dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma is light chocolate, roasted malts, and a hint of caramel. Flavor is similar to aroma with a touch of smoke and has a light body with a dry finish

12oz bottle. Pours deep brown with ruby accents, topped with a moderate sized tan head. Aroma is mainly bittersweet chocolate, with some coffee. Flavor is fairly sweet with chocolate, oats, and coffee. Very thin bodied and not all that satisfying.

Poours an off black almost a dark brown with a go head that goes down fast. Getting an aroma of chocolate falvored water. Way to watery for what I had expected. I was expecting a strong, thick chocolate and oatmeal brew and I got flavored water.

Dark black-brown body with a tiny fizzling head. Decent aroma of chocolate. Taste is richer than previous Trout River beers, but more indicative of Hershey’s syrup with a touch of sourness. A bit watery in the mouthfeel and finish comes up a tad hollow, though this is a decent desert beverage.
