kkearn (596), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 17, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours hazy golden amber with a rocky off-white head. Aroma of grain and lemon, without discernible hops. Sweet malt flavor with some lemon and grain. Hops are only faintly evident. Long, grainy finish, thin watery mouthfeel. It’s a decent enough beer, but certainly not an IPA. changeup45 (525), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 9, 2008 Wow, where are the hops? They sure didn’t put many in mine! Copperish, orange colored. Rather small head and a little bit of lacing. Slight hop aroma, but by saying slight I really mean it. The taste is sweet and fruity but again, where are the hops? Seriously, this doesn’t really have any. Because of this it seems very thin with a watery finish and aftertaste. Thought I was drinking fruit juice. Maybe I was. Ok "beverage" but a horrible IPA. hopdog (4371), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 1, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with 46er3498 (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a small sized white head. Subtle aromas of citrus and fruity. Tastes of citrus and grainy. Thinner taste and thin body. If I had this blind, i wouldn’t have guessed it was an IPA (amber ale). blklab2007 (498), Connecticut, USA Mar 24, 2008 bottle poured a lighter amber in color with a thin head of white froth and steady small bubbles of carbonation. aroma has peach, apricot, some minerals, and light hops for an ipa. flavor is good but very thin and almost watered down. fruit is less noticeable than in the nose and light flowery hops blend in with some sweetness and malt. finish is going dry with some light bitterness. cant believe from the label and name this brew is as thin and ho-hum as it is. rocbyter (586), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Nov 6, 2007 Apple and malts in the aroma. Hazy orange color with a lot of dark sediment and a small white head. Mild taste throughout. A slight amount of hops in the finish.
