puboflyons (352), New Hampshire, USA Jul 5, 2008 From a 12 fl. oz. bottle without any lot code or date. It must have been highly carbonated because when I cracked the top off it really fizzed up (too much actually). It almost popped like a cork! It isn’t really red because it pours a handsome brown-amber with a ton of foamy beige head. Aroma of yeast, malts and fruit. Decent mouthfeel. The taste was mostly malted and maybe just a sprinkle of hops. It seened kind of dry to me. jason (1472), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 25, 2008 Draft. Poured a deep red body with thin head. Aroma is light hops. Flavor is malty, light hops, yeast. phishpond417 (1162), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 20, 2008 Loved this brew! Pours a cloudy amber colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is sweet, hoppy and enticing. soft floral hops give way to a long silyk finish. Zinister (830), Houston, Texas, USA Apr 29, 2008 Bottle thanks to jjpm74, who I agree is a good trader. This bottle was obviously infected....gusher with sour and twang with every sip. Very unfortunate, but it happens. HogTownHarry (3141), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Apr 27, 2008 Bottle (12oz). Via trade with jjpm74, who is an amazing trader, so get trading with him!!. Cloudy ruby pour, very large fluffy-foamy head - borderline gusher, really. Dry, sharply spicy/yeasty aroma, sweet roast malt. Has a tart dry yeasty tang to it, minerally almost, has the "red" and "amber" thang going on, but mostly dry and yeasty. Average body, sharp carbonation, with a dry near-sour finish. Okay, I guess. I mean it might be a tad infected? Off the bat I was thinking "wtf - is this from Au Maitre Brasseur"???
