COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rainbow Red Ale is a well-balanced, easy drinking American-style red ale. This brew has fruity esters, nutty malt flavors, and finishes soft and clean.

Pours a medium reddish amber, medium creamy white head which quickly and mostly diminshes to nothing. Aroma is sweet, slighty fruity, hints of caramel. Flavor is sweet (mostly apple), ending with mild hoppiness. Body is medium, medium carbonation present.

Fruity malt nose. Reddish-orange hue. Off white head, with nice lacing. Light to medium bodied. Malt sweetness, some nuttiness, slight hoppiness. Easy drinking, quaffable beer. Yet not very extraordinary. Crisp finish is enjoyable.

Dark red with a small but coating creamy head. a mellow hop bitterness that works well with sweet, sugary malt tates. I picture myself enjoying this a session beer at the bar.

Horrid visions of a stale beer world…No taste aside from overcooked fruit and oily nuts…Nightmarish…

Had a pint of this tonight, with some anticipation; I’ve been having some good VT-beer experiences lately. Big disappointment! Too much hops, too little anything else, bitter, cardboard taste? Drinkable, but barely, as it got better after a few minutes; but the initial taste was really offputting. No nose to speak of. Skip it.

1st one is ok. After that, I begin to notice a peculiar taste. Is it the hops? Is it what is called oxidation. Just poor aftertaste. Needs improvement.

I was not impressed, a fair beer, nice nose and some bite, but not a hit with me.

A nice well balanced red. Nice cloudy ruby red color. Could use a bit more chocolate malts though.
