Rainbow Red Ale is a well-balanced, easy drinking American-style red ale. This brew has fruity esters, nutty malt flavors, and finishes soft and clean.

12 oz bottle. Not sure where I picked up this bitty, probably Stateline in MD. The pour is caramel, a little cloudy. Some sour tones in the nose, mostly hidden by the maltiness. Flavor is sweet, slightly sour, and doughy. Somewhat thin bodied, decent carbonation.

12 oz bottle-trade w/jjpm74. Cloudy amber color w/a foamy off white head w/lasted thru the brew. Sweet malt aroma. Light, malty flavored brew w/a touch of sweetness; traces of bread dough & slight fruit overtones. Smooth, easy drinking amber which would be a good sesson brew. Seems underrated to me; I’d love to try this on draft. Thanks John!

Bottle. Pours a light amber with a small white head. Aroma of light malts, fruit, and notes of tart citrus. Sweet and malty flavor with light floral hops and a touch of caramel. Light bodied with a clean finish.

Not really that good. Brown pour and a very small head. Aroma is pretty malty and not all that bad. But the flavor has some malt mixed with a funky sour finish...it almost tastes skunked. Not my style at all.

Bottle from a trade with StFun. Poured a brown/red color. Smelled a little fruity and the taste was definately a little sour. I was very surprised, I was expecting just another typical amber.

Obtained through trade (as the beer to be named later...). This one is by no means an Amber Ale. I think what they meant to say was Sour Ale because there was clearly bacteria present. A little carbinated for my taste, but I liked the sour/tartness. Props to my homies at RR brew!

Bottle from jjpm74. Thanks man. Pours a hazy brownish red with a nice head. It looks pretty decent. Aroma is somewhat sour with a good dose of tart citrus. A little caramel malts and sweet toasty aspects are detectable, but the tart aspects dominate. Almost to the point of it reminding me of a low grade sour ale. I am pretty sure it wasn’t supposed to be this way, but it did not taste bad even though it was obviously not in good form. It was tart with a decent sour flavor. A little tart citrus stings the tongue all the while some toasted malts peak through. Light and kind of sour. I rated this based on how it tasted to me, and even though it was obviously messed up, it did not taste all that bad. Oh well.

From a 12 fl. oz. bottle without any lot code or date. It must have been highly carbonated because when I cracked the top off it really fizzed up (too much actually). It almost popped like a cork! It isn’t really red because it pours a handsome brown-amber with a ton of foamy beige head. Aroma of yeast, malts and fruit. Decent mouthfeel. The taste was mostly malted and maybe just a sprinkle of hops. It seened kind of dry to me.
