Lubiere (3146), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Oct 14, 2004 April 2004. Clear black with a very light malt aroma, slight hops. Extremely light bodied, like drinking Perrier with bitter chocolate. Watery. Oh, did i say, watery??? MartinT (4241), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 29, 2004 Almost no aroma covering a light yet creamy body...This is like a pathetic attempt at a low-carb stout...They were definitely having trouble with their dark malts that day... tiggmtl (4157), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Apr 27, 2004 Solvent-like aroma. Dark brown. Fairly clear. Thin white head. Slightly sweet but fairly bland. Really watery and low carbonation. CapFlu (3247), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Apr 27, 2004 (Draught) At the brewery. Thin, biege head with great lacing and the faintest nose of roasted malt. Unfortunately this doesn't work either, the body is too thin and near flavourless. dirtymike (2019), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Sep 8, 2003 Soft roasted malt flavor with a small amount of burnt malt coming through. Not much in the hop department which is fine, full bodied, finishes dry.
