April 2004. Clear black with a very light malt aroma, slight hops. Extremely light bodied, like drinking Perrier with bitter chocolate. Watery. Oh, did i say, watery???

Almost no aroma covering a light yet creamy body...This is like a pathetic attempt at a low-carb stout...They were definitely having trouble with their dark malts that day...

Solvent-like aroma. Dark brown. Fairly clear. Thin white head. Slightly sweet but fairly bland. Really watery and low carbonation.

(Draught) At the brewery. Thin, biege head with great lacing and the faintest nose of roasted malt. Unfortunately this doesn't work either, the body is too thin and near flavourless.

Soft roasted malt flavor with a small amount of burnt malt coming through. Not much in the hop department which is fine, full bodied, finishes dry.
