Oct 2, 2008 Draught @ One Duke, Hamilton. Clear copper with excellent lacing. Fruity and nutty with some dark sugars in aroma. Super clean andn really good palate. Nutty, mellow, mild. Understated, super-sessionable and good.

Aug 26, 2008 Very interesting, on tap at Volo. Mineral and a bit funky like brie rind, high sour note, some fruit in the malts, fine hoopy bitter end note. Good and unusually serious beer for Ontario.

Apr 29, 2008 341 mL bottle. Orange-copper beer with a small beige head - fades to a thick ring after a minute or two. I’m honestly not sure that I could add a lot to the "commercial description" - it’s just about bang on. This is a fresh, malty beer with a dryish bittler finish. Good summer beer.

Apr 28, 2008 Copper - obviously - in colour with a minor head. Nice malty aroma with some nuttiness. Tasty - some sweet maltiness that turned into a dark chocolate bitterness. Finished with a hint of hops.
Nicely complex and fully recommended.

Hoppy malt flavour is a little bitter. Medium body has light astringency. Nice starter for the festival, an interesting blend. (6/3/7/4/13) 3.3
[1634B-20080926] Tap. Fruity grains aroma. Clear, amber red body with a medium-lasting foamy light tan head. Grainy malt and some bready yeast flavour. Grainy medium body. Not bad though a little rough. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1
