COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An ultra-premium, all-malt Cream Ale at 5% alc./vol. Mid-gold colour with a fresh, bread-like malt nose enhanced by fruity hop aromatics. Flavours of fresh malt, subtle sweetness, floral hops and pleasant ale fruitiness all combine to produce a Canadian classic Cream Ale. A moderate hop bitterness and creamy mouthfeel round off the flavour experience. Food pairing suggestions include chowders, sushi, teriyakis, salmon and tuna dishes, corn-on-the-cob, fruit cakes, and brick and colby cheeses.

341 ml bottle from The Beer Store. Pours a clear golden orange with small white head. Bread, fruit and floral notes in the aroma with a hint of spiciness. Flavour is grainy and slightly fruity malt with a modest floral hoppiness. Light bitterness in finish. Alright.

Pale straw coloured pour. The aroma is of pale malt, light corn and a touch of leafy/spicy hops. Surprised to see it listed as all-malt but maybe they were going for the DMS that adds that component. Medium-bodied and a little bit more hoppy than I was expecting which adds a bit of interest to it. Soft lingering bitterness. It’s not great but it’s not terrible either.

Some malty taste in this lager. Yellow, a little lace, average mouthfeel. A little drinkable, I could not finish a half pint.

Bottle. Pour is nice clear copper with medium white head. Aroma is light malt, light bready yeast, and faint hop. Flavor is true to aroma with light malt, yeasty component, and a bready finish. Fine, easy drinking.

Gold clear and white head. Smells lightly sweet with a whiff of malted grain and some crisp yeast. Taste and body are fairly light showing alefruit and a hint of fairly sophisticated english ale yeast character. Taste disappears quickly, making the beer quenching and simple. Some residual sugar sweetness like other TN.

Pours golden with an instantly disappearing head. The aroma has diacetyl, lightly sweet nutty malt and mush veggies. Medium slick body with prickly carbonation. The flavor starts of medicinal and spicy with light caramel malt and mineral water. There is a wateriness to everything. The finish is highly phenolic and veggie heavy.

Aroma is more nut and butter. NUT BUTTER! Appearance is piss with no wisps of head. Taste is floral, slightly medicinal, hoppy, and some biscuit, tonic water, and fruit. Finish is watery and slightly bitter. Meh. No redeeming qualities in this beer.

Acquired in a trade with Matt7215. Pours a nice golden amber with a hint of red and a nice white head with good retention. Aroma is bright with caramel, soft fruits, and a little bitterness in the aroma as well. Tastes like caramel and toffee as well with grain and a little bitterness on the finish. Nice mouth feel. Nice cream ale! Don’t understand the low rating on this one.
