May 29, 2006 Draught sample at C’est What Spring/06 Festival of Small Breweries. Golden-yellow with a small white head. Creamy body. Aroma of fresh malt, light fruit, and a bit of hay. Flavour is simple but fresh, with some herbal hops coming through in the finish, especially as it warms. Cream ales rarely excite me, and this one is no exception, but it’s still quite pleasant and well made.

Nov 24, 2007 Bottle sample, Canadian Brewing Awards 07. Medium yellow, small white head. Mild malt sweetness in aroma - nothing harsh, smells fresh actually. Taste - more of the same, cream malt sweetness you expect from a decently done Canadian Cream Ale - this one was actually bordering on flavourful. Again, nothing off-putting, a decent light ale actually, surprised me a bit. Still not a great fan of this style.

Jul 12, 2005 A good example of the style. Nice dark amber body. Aromas are fairly hoppy, with some grassy notes. Taste is bitter, with some herbal flavours as well. Slight bite in the finish. Pretty good.
