3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled from 341ml brown bottle. Rich gold color, very white head which quickly vanished. Spicy hop aroma with some malt. Medium bodied. Moderatley citrusy hoppy finish, with more malt. Not as hoppy as most examples of the style but well done for an Ontarian micro.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: FEB 7, 2014 341ml bottle. Pours a clear deep golden colour with a half finger, white head that fades to nearly nothing fast. Aroma has slight bready/biscuit notes with faint hops to balance it out. Taste is slightly bitter with notes of biscuit and English hops. Slightly fruity and metalic with a semi-dry finish and drawn out, bitter aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Overall not bad but not my style. I prefer a more West coast style IPA to a traditional English style. Worth a try if you enjoy the style. Cheers!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber and clear, slight sweetness to the nose , the hops are not overpowering, slightly nutty on the nose. Tastes almost like a session beer and then you see that its 6.5% it really hides it well.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty decent malt profile here but not much hops. Pours clear dark amber with fizzy head, some lacing. Finishes with light bitterness. Has some booze with the caremelized malt. Soft carbonation. Bottle from brewery.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is one of the few IPAs that are close to 7% in my local beer store. I find that odd that a lot of ales are called IPA but are only 5%. Over all a very enjoyable beer. Second best IPA that I’ve tried to date. Great flavour with a nice hoppy taste. Reminds me slightly of Flying Monkey’s Hoptical Illusion. Although the hop taste in that beer is significantly more noticeable.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Originally rated May 2004. Golden orange in colour, this IPA with a medium head leaves a foamy lacing. Lightly carbonated, I can smell hints of citrus (specially oranges). It has a medium bitter taste to it but with a smooth finish. The strong alcohol content is not unpleasant, but hits the right spot in your head. Better then Keith’s for a Canadian IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is not bad. Pours a nice dark gold hue with white head. Good pine and floral hop aroma. Taste is mild, seems like a good deal of caramel malts as well.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
341 ml bottle from The Beer Store. Pours a clear golden orange with moderate-sized white head. Aroma of slightly musty caramel malt and floral hops. Flavour is caramel, fruit and mellow floral hoppiness. Modest bitterness in finish. Pretty mild IPA but okay.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours light brown with head that quickly fades. No date on the bottle. I would like to have seen that. Aroma is very nice. Tiny bit of pine with some grassy notes. Taste is a little weaker than the aroma, kind of flat finish. It got better after a few tastes but still thin. Some grassyness and hay comes through quite nicely. Very subtle but nice. I would have liked to see more pine in the taste. A bit of alcohol comes through as well. The more I have the more I like it.
