3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This hazy golden beer pours with a massive foamy head. It has earthy, grassy and woody flavours with peppery hop notes and a spicy dry finish. This is a very nice English style IPA (although it contains American hops!)

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from York Beer and Wine. Almost clear, orangey amber. Huge, bubbly, off white head. Smells soapy, peachy, and caramel sweet. Taste has soapy, grapefruity dryness. Easy to drink, once the carbonation has calmed down a bit. A tad rough and ready. Probably better from a cask?

500ml bottle from the Crafty Pint, Darlington. Hazy orange amber colour, frothy white head and floral citrus malt aroma. Sharp fizzy malt caramel taste, with citrus hop, earthy, yeasty notes and a lingering zesty dry bitterness. Smooth body, high carbonation. Quite OK.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Gravity at Birmingham Beer Festival 2012. Lifeless dishrag taste, with a final flourish of glue tart bitterness, which is a bit overpowering. Not brilliant, but does improve. Needs to ripen a bit.
