COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Smooth, deep and fruity, it aims to comfort rather than shock. Brewed with Maris Otter malt and lightly hopped with Goldings, it is, quite simply, ‘proper ale’.

Cask at Market Porter with Sarah. Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of light grass with a bit of sulfur and grain backed by earthy grains. Flavor has smooth grass hops with an earthy biscuit and grain backing.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2012 (cask@The Lord Northbrook, SE London) Pours orange/yellow with medium/small white head and good lacing. Aroma of pleasing malts/hops. Medium to light body and light carbonation and taste is malt biscuit and light hops with sweet honey/orange on the palate. Very refreshing easy drinking and tasty ale this. Good stuff.
