75 cL bottle, 04933, courtesy of renffisch. Pours hazy yellow and a bubly white head. Dense alcoholic and phenolic aroma. Smooth and caramel malty flavoured with a mild yeasty note. Lingering yeasty and malty finish. Smooth yet not really good.

<i> Vintage 2008 </i> Little head on pale golden beer. Cidery, nearly fruity white wine nose - unheard of! Sweet-sour beer, unfortunately a bit Babycham-like, (an impression that can only be reinforced by the saucy bottle). Gradually the little sourishness gets indeed a pear-like aroma, certainly retronasal. It’s probably the wheat, but it certainly has no wheat-character, no bananaester, no cloves. Light body despite the ABV, Champenoise carbonation. Not realy convincing IMO, but it depends maybe on what the target group for this beer is...
