A sweet citrusy hoppy pilsener. It’s really good! I don’t get the other reviews. Perhpas because the regular Trumer pils is nothing special?? This is much more like a pale ale though. First they say it’s an Imperial Pils, then Heller Bock, I picked it up in a Austrian Bock bier assortment. Whatever it is, I was very happily surprised with this one. I’d drink it again and again.

courtesy of Toni Flükiger - pretty clear dark blond beer with a little foam left; herbal aroma with notes of oranges; sweet and gently sticky, full-bodied, a light residual sweetness with long grassy and fruity notes; a decent bitterness

Bottle. Medium golden, average white head. Aroma is sweet grains. Flavour is same, with a hint of orchard fruits. Clean finish. Pretty unexciting, but at least it wasn’t flat out gross.

330ml green bottle. Clear gold pour with airy white foam. Nose has a trace of fruitiness, grains, grass Taste has some grain sweetness, notes of grass, light citrus/fruit note. Clean and dry finish, lingering grassiness. Light to medium bodied, strong carbonation but not fizzy. Refreshing, decent hops.
