7/6/08 on draught at the Dog and Pony, Renton, Wa. Aroma is an even pils/noble balance with an interesting black pepper spiciness. Appearance is very clear yellow with a well maintained white head and good lacing. Flavor is grainy with almost caramel malt sweetness and low bittering. Mouthfeel is very low bodied with a moderate carb texture. Overall, more complex than expected.

On tap...straw-colored with a nice 1/2 inch cotton-white head that stuck to the inside of the glass. The aroma was mild citrus, faint sweetness, and subtle grassiness. Flavor is uneventful and follows the nose. Crisp, thin, and drinkable.

Tap. I’ve had this in bottles and on tap – it’s much better on tap. Pours a clear light yellow with a stark white head and decent lacing. Nose is grassy hops and grain. Taste is grains and a dry, bitter hoppy finish. Light mouth feel. Not bad.

A typical pilsner with no qualities that stand out. I’ve had so many like this now that it’s hard to distinguish one from the next. This one’s not bad, just not exciting or innovative.

Bottle. Citrusaroma. Flowery, rubbery, citric light hopbitter flavor, with flowers and plastic in the aftertaste. Could be worse.

A nice standard German pilsener. Aroma of grass, pilsner malts and a hint of hops. Pour was a nice light gold with a 2 finger white head. Taste was classic pils. LIght pilsner malt in the front, strong carbonation and a mouth drying hoppy bitterness. Very nice.

Poured into a pint glass. Clear golden straw color with a big white head. Smells earthy and grainy. Hay, grass aromas. Nice lemony citrus and cereal grain, some grassy hoppiness. Crisp semi-bitter finish. Prickly carbonation, light bodied, refreshing. Easy to drink.
