Sparky27 (1559), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jul 1, 2008 Tap. I’ve had this in bottles and on tap – it’s much better on tap. Pours a clear light yellow with a stark white head and decent lacing. Nose is grassy hops and grain. Taste is grains and a dry, bitter hoppy finish. Light mouth feel. Not bad. Gypsy19 (602), California, USA Jun 27, 2008 A typical pilsner with no qualities that stand out. I’ve had so many like this now that it’s hard to distinguish one from the next. This one’s not bad, just not exciting or innovative. bierkoning (5987), La Tropica, Netherlands Jun 26, 2008 Bottle. Citrusaroma. Flowery, rubbery, citric light hopbitter flavor, with flowers and plastic in the aftertaste. Could be worse. LinusStick (1831), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 20, 2008 A nice standard German pilsener. Aroma of grass, pilsner malts and a hint of hops. Pour was a nice light gold with a 2 finger white head. Taste was classic pils. LIght pilsner malt in the front, strong carbonation and a mouth drying hoppy bitterness. Very nice. illidurit (851), Santa Cruz, California, USA Jun 18, 2008 Poured into a pint glass. Clear golden straw color with a big white head. Smells earthy and grainy. Hay, grass aromas. Nice lemony citrus and cereal grain, some grassy hoppiness. Crisp semi-bitter finish. Prickly carbonation, light bodied, refreshing. Easy to drink. BückDich (4785), McCall, Idaho, USA Jun 13, 2008 Bottle: Pours a clear yellow color with a nice white head and some lacing. The nose is lightly malty with a touch of biscuit and some bitter metallic hops shining through. The flavor is thin with a touch of toast and ample bitterness shining through for a pilsner. Quite right to style in the bitter department actually. Needs a little help on the malts. More European stuff. Soonah (900), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA Jun 10, 2008 Poured crystal clear gold with a compact white fizzy head. No lacing. Some active effervescence rising up. The aroma is malts and lots of Saaz hops. The flavor follows suit. The mouthfeel is on the thin side and the finish was fairly dry. A non-offensive, easy drinking Pils. scoobyluv (486), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA May 28, 2008 very pale in color. tastes like a fucking budweiser. it just has a fancier name. at least it had nice lacing and a nice head. but that’s about all i can say for it.
